PET Quick Start
This document is intended to help you use PET for the first time. It assumes
you already installed PET and have read the release notes.
Simulating
- Load an SBML file by clicking where the red star indicates in the
following image.
- Create a Basal Set. This will import parameters and initial conditions
from your SBML
file.
- Type a name (anything you want) where the red star is, and click
"Add".
- Click the where the red star indicates below and select your SBML file
again.
- Click "Import" to the right of "SBML File" and your parameters will be
imported into the current basal set.
- Create a Simulation. Select the "Edit Simulations" tab and define a
simulation by typing a name (anything you want) where the red star is, and click
"Add".
- Click the "Simulate" button.
You can add as many simulations as you want and you can change parameters and
initial conditions using interface components near the red stars below.
