Experimental results: Fig. 4, the mutant is viable, it replicates DNA much earlier than the wild-type cells, but buds at about the same time.
Comments: In simulation, sic1∆ has a G1 length of 9.7 min (wiild type, 35.7 min), budding occurs at 28.8 min (wild type, 32.7 min), and is 90% wild type size.
